Deskjet 1050 Printer Overview

The HP Desk jet 1050 is an all in one printer. This printer can be used as a copier, fax machine and printer. The cartridge can be easily installed by turning on the power button and then opening the cartridge access door. It is important to make sure that once you take the new cartridge out of the package, that you carefully pull the pink tab so that the plastic tape is removed. Once this is done, the cartridge should be held with the nozzle facing the product while inserting the cartridge into the slot. If you are using a tri-colour cartridge, then the cartridge is placed into the left slot and the black one goes in the right slot. Both cartridges should then be pushed forward into the slot until you hear it snap into place. Once this is done, the cartridge access door can be closed.

An alignment page will print out. The cartridges can then be aligned by taking the alignment page and placing the printed side face down on top of the scanner glass. The lid should be closed and then press the start copy button. The cartridge alignment is completed once the power light stops blinking. All of these steps are easy to follow.
